If you’re looking to further enhance your sim-racing setup with some Ferrari flair, Thrustmaster has just unveiled their new Ferrari 488 GT3 Wheel add-on.
The Ferrari 488 GT3 Wheel Addon is a 1:1 replica of the wheel from the most successful car in Ferrari’s history with more than 500 victories in competitions. This replica wheel has been designed with a weight and structure that is optimized for competition and uses a central faceplate with carbon fibre cladding. The wheel features an overall 12.2/31cm diameter allowing for the most out of your wheel base’s power whilst also offering high-level immersion.
The wheel features 11 action buttons, a D-pad, 2 rotary encoders and 2 thumb encoders that all feature a realistic feel which replicates the controls found on the original wheel. These buttons provide quick access to various functions and can be modified very easily. There are also four LED indicators on the wheel rims central faceplate which can provide different information whilst racing. The paddle shifters use magnetic sensors for clear and precise activation plus their position can be adjusted with four configurations according to the user’s preference.
Finally, the wheel is fully compatible with all Thrustmaster racing wheelbases thanks to the two Quick Release holders allowing users to select the attachment compatible with the base without the need for an additional adapter.
Ferrari 488 GT3 Wheel Add-On is available at a suggested retail price of £199.99 / $249.99 / €249.99 for worldwide release:
