ThunderX3 @ Computex 2023

Computex 2023 has seen one thing really taken to the next level, and that’s gaming chairs. Honestly, the last few years of tradeshows (before Covid) were nothing but the same crap chairs from a factory in China, and they were all largely pretty crap outside of the big-name brands. Brands have clearly taken note, as the 2023 designs are all unique to each brand and packed with actual innovation and ergonomics that really grabbed our attention, and our arses, honestly, never sat in so many comfortable chairs at a show, and the ThunderX3 booth has a real winner on its hands.
Andy above, tell me that isn’t a man that looks comfortable! The headrest features an ergonomic head pillow, that’s genuinely supportive.
The backrest is free floating, so it gives you lumbar support as you might expect. However, you can move sideways, twist, turn and lean into it and it moves with you. It’s like your back is on a bloody surfboard at first and feels weird.
However, we kept coming back to this one, literally, to sit in it again, it quickly feels very natural and honestly, this is going to prove a big hit for Aerocool and their ThunderX3 brand.
The seat base can be moved forward or tilted independently of the rear too, which is awesome.
Plus, I think you’ll agree the black and blue or the soft grey booth look pretty stunning.
If that’s not enough, this big cushion can be used as both a footrest or as an elbow rest if you’re a laid-back controller gamer like myself. Also, matching padded armrests? Why have we never seen this before?
My butt has requested a sample, I need to test this further, more to follow ASAP!
