Upgrading Your VR Experience
I’ve been gaming in VR since the release of the DK2 headset by Oculus, and it’s been a lot of fun. However, no matter what format any of the popular headsets come in, there is always room for some improvement. I’ve owned the Vive headset for a few months now, and while the experience of using the headset is amazing, it just didn’t fit right, literally.
The headsets stock strap leaves a lot to be desired, and the problem is compounded when it comes to letting other people have a go. It’s difficult to adjust accurately, and even when it is secured to your face, it still doesn’t sit right with a lot of users. The headset feels like it wants to slip off your head, even more so when you’re playing room scale games where you’re crouching or looking down a lot. When you do tighten it, you then increase the pressure on your face, while makes you hot and uncomfortable quite quickly.
There are a few neat little products on the market that can help though, so let’s take a look at a few I think will help with your HTC Vive!
