NVIDIA unveiled their most powerful RTX video card yet two weeks ago with the TITAN RTX. Now it is finally available for purchase, directly on NVIDIA’s website. As expected, the $2,499 price is significantly higher than the flagship consumer gaming RTX 2080 Ti ($1,199) video card.
In comparison to other TITAN graphics cards however, it is in the middle with the TITAN V costing $2,999 each.
Nonetheless, the TITAN RTX uses a Turing GPU with up to 4608 CUDA cores, 576 tensor cores and 72 RT cores. It sports 24GB of GDDR6 on a 384-bit interface. In comparison, the TITAN V uses the Volta architecture and has 12GB of HBM2 on a 3072-bit interface.
In terms of clock speed, the TITAN RTX has a baseclock of 1350MHz and boosts up to 1770MHz with a 7000MHz memory clock.
The card uses up two slots and looks identical to the Founder’s Edition RTX design. Except for the gold colouring. It also shares the same connectivity options including 3 x DisplayPort , 1 x HDMI, and 1 x USB Type-C. In terms of power requirements, it needs two additional 8-pin PCIe power connectors.
