Titanfall 2 has just got a huge update, and while the changes it brings will offer improved performance for almost all PC users, it’s set to be most beneficial to those with lower powered systems. The update will improve performance with features like adaptive resolution scaling and TSAA, but use it with a slight caution.
To get the most performance, you’ll want to enable Adaptive Resolution Scaling, and you’ll need to enable TSAA. You can set your performance target, say 60FPS, but keep in mind that if you set the performance target too high for your GPUs capabilities, it could significantly drop the image quality to keep those frames up, so don’t expect a budget card to push 4K@60 just because of the new trickery.
