Titanfall 2 Leak Suggests an October 2016 Release

Multiplayer first-person shooter video game Titanfall was developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It came out in 2014 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles, and even though it enjoyed a warm reception and eventually received quite a few awards, its creators quickly decided to start work on the game’s sequel, namely Titanfall 2. Respawn has confirmed that it was working on a sequel on March 12, 2015, but the only other thing that we knew for sure was that the game would arrive on Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this time around. A recent leak on Reddit posted by a user named “ilovegoogleglass” has provided some extra information, but since the info is unconfirmed right now, it should definitely be taken with a pinch of salt.
According to the user, Titanfall 2 will most likely be released in October 2016, which is the same month that Battlefield 1 is scheduled to come out. Furthermore, it looks like Titanfall 2 will boast larger maps when compared to its predecessor, and it will probably include new abilities such as a grappling hook. EA will unveil the game completely at its own E3 event, which will take place on June 12. Even though the original Reddit post has been deleted, a user managed to save it in time, and you can have a look at it below.
“I’ve been sitting on some Titanfall 2 information that was shared with me, and I’ve finally got the go ahead to post. Titanfall 2 will release in October and the Mountain dew leak is indeed legitimate. They’ve added a ton of new pilot abilities including the addition of a grappling hook. My source said you can use it quite extensively, for getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, or tactical plays such as pulling enemies while they’re midair. The pre-order bonus will be a handgun called the Violator. Multiplayer maps are bigger which I can assume they upped the player count to go along with them. The left side of this will be the box art. Stay tuned.”
