Today is a day to celebrate for Google, the third Anniversary of its open source browser Chrome which was launched on September the 2nd 2008. Chrome has come a long way in a short space of time, taking huge leaps in security, functionality and speed. It has quickly become recognised as the fastest of the big three browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox) and its popularity has grown rapidly in the past 3 years as it is rapidly gaining market share from Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Google has also put together a thoughtful interactive graph showing the evolution of web browsing so we definite recommend you take a look at that. And if you want to download the current version of Google Chrome and give it a try you can get that from here.
