Todd Howard Responds to the Feedback From $7 Starfield Mission

Bethesda has a lot to answer for, as its infamous horse armour arguably kickstarted the microtransaction-riddled gaming landscape we know today. Now it seems that there up to it again but this time with one Starfield Mission costing $7 alone!
$7 Mission
The new mission was announced during the Xbox showcase where it was revealed alongside the new Shattered Space expansion. The mission Trackers Alliance mission costs $7 but in reality is $10 due to you needing to buy 1,000 Starfield Creation Credits to have enough to access it.
Understandably this caused some backlash mainly because the DLC would already be costing around $20-$25 but even without the DLC it’s already a bit pricey for a single mission.
Bethedas Response
The resulting backlash has now prompted Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard to come out and say that they “hear that feedback” and that they will “take a look at that and how we deliver content like that.”
Despite this, the situation has left a sour taste in players’ mouths. The paid for quest being unreasonable to start with, and the in-game prices are abused, where even the smallest amount of currency isn’t enough to purchase the quest, which only makes the premium DLC more enticing due to its inclusion of 1000 credits (enough to buy the quest).
Despite this Todd Howard is adamant that the intention of The Vulture was to “go the extra mile”
