It hasn’t been a smooth ride for game developers lately and we’ve seen more than one totally messed up release, postponed dates, and cancelled editions and it hasn’t been much different for Ubisoft’s upcoming and anticipated
Tom Clancy’s the Division Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world online RPG and as we already know, it has been postponed until Q1 2016 instead of a 2015 release date. One of the cool features and originally described as really meaningful when announced was the Companion app for your tablet. That part got cancelled completely a couple of days ago as it provided an imbalance to the game.
The good news is, that the sign-up sheets for the beta testing of the game are hanging and you can put yourself in the running to become a tester. Xbox One players will be the first to get hands on the beta in December while the PC and PS4 will have to wait until early 2016 to test out the game.
Pre-orders to the game will gain you an automatic entry into the beta, but there’s also a waiting list that you can join and place yourself in a good position to enjoy beta access if and when it gets opened up to the public. If you wish to sign up, then you can do that on the official Division Beta page.
The full game is set for a full release on March 8, 2016. Until then we’ll just have to make do with some gameplay walkthrough impressions from E3.
