Many different software applications are used to gain the broadest spectrum of results, which allows for the fairest testing possible.
Software used:
- AIDA64

- AS SSD Benchmark
- ATTO Disk Benchmark
- BootRacer
- CrystalDiskMark
- Iometer
In a bid to make the test as fair as possible, I’m running each of the benchmarks multiple times, up to 10 times each. The solid state hybrid drives use intelligent caching technology, and it’s only fair to take that part of the drive fully into consideration in these test.
On the following pages I’ll be showing the screenshot of the first result, as this is the initial value with most relevance. If the follow-up test show any difference to the first, those screenshots will be shared as well. This is one of the cases where less is more, as it shows how fast the drive’s caching technology is to sort the data it receives.
