Touch Screens for AIO and Notebooks to get more than 50% growth in 2013

TPK- one of the touch panel solution providers– expects to account for more than half of its overall revenues in 2013. It also planned to increase its stake in MasTouch Optoelectronics by 90% by the end of 2012 and also have a 100% stake eventually.

The reason its increasing its take on that company because MaTouch focused on All-in-One PCs with 15- 23 inch touch panels and this business will boom in 2013.

According to Digitimes, with Microsoft Windows 8’s presence, the shipment of Touch panel AIO units will increase upto 15.8 Million units in 2013. Expectations are also high on touch capable notebook as its expected to achieve 20% by 2013.

Cando, another subsidiary of TPK specializing in the manufacture of one-glass-solution touch panels, is confident they will earning profits.
