Devil May Cry HD Collection
Devil May Cry has, for many, been a much-loved gaming series. Despite it rarely being perfect, the fluid gaming action has been enough to warrant several sequels.
The upcoming Devil May Cry HD Collection release which is due for release shortly, has, however, just received its first trailer.
A great, but flawed series
While not a massive fan of Devil May Cry, I have played most of the games and generally found them enjoyable. The fluid combat was great fun and something which was partially emulated in the also excellent Bayonetta.
The series, however, was not without its fault. For example, Some of the Devil May Cry games were unbelievably difficult, even on the easier settings.
The HD Collection
In the HD collection, due for release on PC, Xbox One and PS4, we are getting a whole new host of goodies bringing the classic games back with a bang. All three versions are set to operate at 60fps with improved graphics.
On top of this, however, the PC release will also include support for 4k gaming and even higher resolutions. This will, however, presumably require a pretty hefty graphics card.
What will it include?
The release will include all three original games and for fans of the series, this is going to be a no-brainer. Capcom though may certainly be hoping it is after nearly 2 years of disappointing sales figures. While it might sound dramatic, I think Capcom is in big need of a major success.
Devil May Cry HD Collection will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 13th.
