Travel Back to the Future in GTA V with This Awesome Mod!

This is definitely one of the most interesting and awesome mods ever made for Grand Theft Auto V, and that says a lot considering just how many of them were created since the game’s release. Those of you who have a soft spot for Back to the Future will definitely want to try this mod out, not just because it includes an actual working DeLorean but also because said DeLorean can actually travel through time. The project was put together by Joshua Vanderzee, and it can be downloaded right here. However, you should know that there are currently some instability issues, particularly during reentry sequences, which is why you might also need to download and install a special fix.

As far as the mod’s requirements are concerned, you’re going to need the base game (obviously), the GTA V script hook, the GTA V script hook.net, NativeUI, as well as .net 4.5, .net 4.6, and .net 4.6.1. Below you will find a short video that shows off the DeLorean in action, and I have to admit that the design is pretty spot on, including “Mr. Fusion,” which was the power source used by the time machine. Apparently, you’ll have to put fuel into this canister periodically in order to be able to travel through time, which is exactly what Doc needed to do as well in the movies.
