Tritton Detonator Xbox 360 Headset Review

In the box we find a great assortment of bits and pieces, you’ll find the headset its self, the cable that connects the Xbox controller to the headset, the in-line remote control, the special adaptor that connects to the back of the Xbox, which is a great bonus in its self as not a lot of headsets include this and it normally has to be purchased separately, and finally the detachable microphone.
The cables are a little cumbersome, built of thick and sturdy cable (no bad thing) but compared to a braided cable the wires do seem to get everywhere when your gaming and are a little heavy, not unlike most headsets in this price range though.
The headset its self looks absolutely fantastic, Tritton have chosen to keep a similar style across their entire range of headsets, for good reason too, its very defined and unique, with a menacing angled look, high quality plastics and rubber are used in its construction. Its fairly heavy too, but well balanced at the same time, so it doesn’t feel over weighted when in use, it wouldn’t have much trouble taking a few knocks and bumps that’s for sure. This is of course a good thing, but the end result is a very cool looking, durable headset, that feels a lot more expensive than it is.
