Tritton Kunai PS3 & PSVita Gaming Headset Review

The included cable is a decent length at 14ft and comes fitted with some heavy duty cable on the part that runs from the console to the in-line controller. This is a welcome addition as the main body of the cable can sometimes get under your feet while gaming, so it helps to have a tough cable. The headset runs off the standard red and white AUX cables, so you will need either your standard AV cable to hand, or use the AUX ports on the TV / AV receiver to hook up the headset.

When in use on the PS3 you need to use the attached USB cable, which can be plugged into any USB socket on your TV/PS3 as its only required to provide extra power. If you’re using the headset on PS Vita, the standard 3.5mm cable that runs from the headset is all you need to connect, just like any other pair of headphones.

The Included microphone is full flexible and adjustable. It is completely removable from the headset and uses a twist lock mechanism to prevent it loosing connection or falling away while gaming.

The inline remove is pretty durable too, its not uncommon to find really cheap looking controllers on headsets within this price range. While it isn’t featured packed, it does offer separate voice and game audio controls as well a microphone mute switch.

The headset is finished is a really high quality glossy white plastic. It looks and feels fantastic and really durable. Each of the earpieces can be rotated 90 degree to allow it to hang around your neck with ease and are fitted with a soft leather padding, great for those long gaming sessions.

The top part of the headband comes with a thick padded section to help secure a good fit on your head, this is also aided by durable side height adjustments.
