You don’t need me to tell you how big the gaming scene is these days, with the ever growing popularity of online gaming, competitive multiplayer games and e-sports all giving us more and more reasons to play online. With that comes a big demand from gamers for reliable and affordable peripherals, such as gaming headsets like the one we’re looking at today from Tritton.
Tritton already have a great name for themselves within the gaming scene, ranging from the consumer level all the way up to supporting teams within the e-sports community. We’ve already looked at some of their premium range products in recent weeks such as the Tritton Warhead 7.1 and the Tritton 720 Pro+ which both won an eTeknix award. The downside of those headsets though was cost, premium quality and performance comes with a premium price tag. This is where the Kunai comes into play, with its very respectable and consumer friendly price of around £45 (at time of writing, checked via google shopping).
The Tritton Kunai were looking at today is designed to work with the Playstation 3 and the Playstation Vita portable gaming system. But it is also available for 3Ds and soon the soon to be release Wii U from Nintendo.
So come and take a look at the next few pages, where I will be taking a closer look at just what kind of features and accessories you get with the Kunai. Then we’ll put it through its paces to see just how much quality and performance you do (or don’t) get for under £50.
