A Closer look

Normally we would include a Bundle page but as its a headset and as not much is included it seemed a little pointless. Instead we will first start with the Product Guide.

Also included, which does not come attached to the headset, is the microphone.

Now we move to the headset itself, which we will look at in more detail further down this page. The cable connected to the headset itself is very short and we wonder whether this may cause a few problems.

Separating the cable into two parts is certainly an interesting approach. This shows just how many channels of sound are being sent to the headset, pure unadulterated surround-sound.

The cable of the headset is very short and as you can probably guess the in-line remote plugs into this. The volume control is at the top of this picture.

The in-line remote has two dials for Sub and Centre on the one side.

While on the other side there are two dials; Front and Rear, as well as a switch for the microphone.

Moving to the connectors at the end of this cable, there are 4 jack plugs (Front, Rear, Mic and Centre/Sub) as well as a USB connector.

Taking a look at the headset itself in more detail, both ear cups have a large illuminated Tritton logo which glows red when on, but powers down when turned down or not plugged in.

The headband itself is fairly standard as it has large thick cushioning underneath but is clearly well made and feels of good quality materials.

The ear cups are equally well made and certainly look very comfortable.

Finally, you may be wondering where the microphone plugs in, so here is the socket.
