Tt eSports Dasher Gaming Mouse Pad Review

Final ThoughtsWhile we haven’t been able to find many bad points with this mousepad I am still not very impressed with it. It is certainly cheaper than a lot of its competitors, but it is not a very fast mouse pad, and it doesn’t seem to be made to the high standard we would expect from Tt eSPORTS and especially Thermaltake.
The edges of the mousepad are going to fray, probably only after a few hours use, the white hand-strip at the side is going to get dirty however hard you try to stop it. On the other hand it does work well with a lot of mice, whether they are Laser, Optical or dare I say trackball. The surface is very uniform and this means the mouse tracks very smoothly indeed, and while it is not fast, it is certainly perfect for more ‘control-based’ games (not that I know what I really mean by that). So to clarify, if there is a game where you need to be able to move the mouse to a very precise location and speed isn’t as important then this mousepad would be good. The closest to this is probably FPS games, where taking an extra millisecond to kill someone is probably better than missing completely. That said, it is called the speed edition and it certainly comes in about 3rd place with regards to sprints.
To sum up, this mouse pad is a sensible size, looks fairly good, and is fairly comfortable to use. On the other hand, it is not as fast as some of the competitors but does allow for great accuracy whichever type of mouse you are using.
You can buy this mat from Amazon.com for $19.99.
Pros:
- Looks Good
- Comfortable to use
- Very precise and accurate performance
- Cheaper than competition
Cons:
- Not as fast as other ‘speed edition’ mouse pads
- Edges will fray
