The software is very simple to set up, it’s just a case of inserting the CD (or downloading the driver) and running the setup file. When correctly installed, the following screen is then displayed. This is essentially the homepage, from here you can configure just about every aspect of the mouse. The Level 10 M can store up to 5 profiles on board, but these can also be saved and transferred via memory sticks and the like. This screen is also responsible for the button configuration, which is fully customisable using the key assignment options on the right.
The light options tab allows you to set the LED colour, or if you just want to turn it off.
The performance tab allows you the customise the DPI settings, click speed, cursor speed and the scroll speed. The polling rate can also be selected on this page, although we tend to just leave it as 1000Hz.
There is another tab, but that is just for saving and exporting profile settings, nothing exciting, although useful if you use the mouse on different PCs.
So that covers the software, simple, intuitive, what more could be asked for? Lets now take a look at just how well the mouse performed.
