Tt eSPORTS Shock One Gaming Headset Review

Packaging and BundleThe packaging carries the standard red on black Tt eSPORTS (By Thermaltake) theme that we have seen from several of their products. On the right-hand side we can see a sample of the product and on the left hand side is the model, the Shock One, and a few features.

On the back we find the features and specifications in several languages and a screenshot of the included software – something we don’t always see with a headset.

On the one side is a labelled picture showing you the features of each component, there are 15 parts and all of the text is in English.

While you could see part of the product from the front, the transparent window does carry on around the side allowing you to see the side of one of the ear cups. There is also a tester ‘Comfort padding’ section, with a small sample of the material stuck on, and yes if your eyesight is that good, they did spell it ‘pading’.

As headsets don’t tend to be cheap we do like to see a few extras included and Tt eSPORTS like to provide us with a carry case for all of their products so that they are less likely to get damaged. The headset comfortably fits in with space to spare and uses a simple drawstring to close the case.

We also find a Tt eSPORTS ‘file/folder’ style item, this contains the quick start guide, warranty and a CD for the software that is included.

Finally, something I don’t expect to see from computer gaming headsets, which is seen more regularly in the professional market, the inclusion or at least availability of different ear cups. Tt eSPORTS have gone to the effort of producing and including a second pair of replaceable ear pads. One is made of a velvet material and one a more leathery counterpart, below is the velvet version.
