Tt eSPORTS Sybaris Wired & Wireless Headset Review
Final Thoughts
Price
At time of writing the availability of this headset is severely limited, but most major retailers should start stocking the item properly in the coming weeks. At the moment it’s only showing at newegg.com as out-of-stock, with a price of a little over £80 in the UK and $140 in the US. This isn’t cheap, but given the range of features and overall quality, it’s certainly in line with rival offerings in terms of features, but at a more competitive price point.
Overview
Tt eSPORTS have proven once again that they’re king at making great gaming headsets that don’t have to cost anywhere near as much as the competition. There are lots of great headsets from the likes of Roccat, Turtle Beach, Razer and MadCatz that offer these features and for the most part, they usually cost over £100. Not only have Tt eSPORTS crammed all these features in, with the added bonus of NFC, but they’ve done it at a price that’s no more than a normal PC gaming headset.
Build quality is on par with the best on the market. Sure there are a lot of plastics used, but they’re all tough, really well finished and put together very well. The interior of the headband features a thick metal strip and in general, the whole headset feels really solid; certainly strong enough to survive a few hard knocks and bumps.
Modular cables are a big win, if you only want to use this with your MP3 player, you can, but you can hook it up to your phone, any Bluetooth compatible device, your desktop PC and more, making the Sybaris a solid all-rounder. Removable cables also mean that should you happen to break or lose a cable, it’s not going to be difficult to replace.
Sound quality is crystal clear from both the drivers and the microphone, combined they make a great pair for those who play competitively and rely heavily on team chat; loud and clear communication can really mean the difference between victory and defeat.
Pros
- Durable build quality
- Stylish design
- Multi-format support
- Bluetooth / NFC connectivity
- Modular cables
- Detachable boom microphone
- Competitive price
Cons
- Headband padding is a little unforgiving after extended use
“Tt eSPORTS have added another great headset to their range, so much so that it’s actually becoming difficult to pick which one of their headsets is their best. This is a great gaming headset without compromise, but the addition of mobile and wireless connectivity certainly gives the Sybaris an edge over the competition in this price range.”

Thank you Tt eSPORTS for providing us with this sample.
That thinly padded headband could be a deal breaker for those who are not fortunate enough to have a good full head of hair and I should know. As much as I love my Roccat Kave XTD’s having used them for a good long while now so that they should’ve been broken in by now and I should be used to them but I still have to remove them every hour and a half or so, so that my melon can bounce back into the shape nature intended after those 3 padded cushions have dug in. It was even worse when I used the older Kave 5.1’s.
i like that mic cause it remind me of V-moda BoomPro Mic.i wonder if it can be purchase separately and then used on other headphone with 3.5mm input…
