Tt eSPORTS Theron Gaming Mouse Review
Tim Mammatt / 13 years ago
From first glances the Theron has a very sleek contoured design, which is similar to some of the other Tt eSPORTS gaming mice we have seen. The left and right mouse buttons have a concave shape as does the thumb rest, which helps guide the fingers to them and makes it comfortable to grip. There are a total of eight buttons on the Theron, with the usual LMB, MMB and RMB. On the thumb rest, there are two buttons, which by default navigate forward and backward in a web browser.
On the top you have two buttons below the scroll wheel that control the DPI level, which can go up to 5400 DPI and on the right side, there is an additional button that has no function by default, however, this will reviewed under greater depth further on.
On the underside of the mouse there are two buttons – something you don’t normally find on a gaming mouse. These two buttons control the profile for the Theron and the polling rates, which are 1000Hz, 500Hz and 125Hz. There is also a small lock switch, that when unlocked allows you to remove the weight cover. In here there are five 4.5 gram weights, that allow you to choose how light you want the Theron to be.
By default the Theron has a red lighting theme, this can be changed by selecting a different profile or in the software that Tt eSPORTS provide, which we’ll look at later.
There are many different coloured LEDs available to choose from; red, purple, 3 shades of blue, yellow and green.
