Prolific case manufacturer Thermaltake is re-introducing their Core 71, V51 and Suppressor F51 cases with new TG Edition versions. These cases initially had side-window panels made of steel and acrylic, but the new TG edition versions have full-view tempered glass panels. These panels are all 4mm thick, providing a protection and a full-view of the internal components. The Core V71, V51 and Suppressor F51 cases themselves are ideal for custom water-cooling with their spacious interior. Additionally, Thermaltake includes GPU riser bracket for an optional vertical mounting. This gives users the ability to show off their video cards.
What makes the Core V71, V51 and Suppressor F51 spacious is its flexibility. The internal components are rearrangeable, and users can remove the HDD cages. This frees up room for reservoirs, and other water-cooling components. Each case also supports motherboards up to E-ATX in size and is Tt LCS certified. This means they are compatible with Thermaltake’s entire line of liquid cooling products. You can read our previous review of the Core V71 to get an idea of what feature are available.
The Core 71 Tempered Glass Edition case is the largest of the three, featuring a width of 230mm. It supports up to two 200mm case fans or a 420mm liquid cooling radiator. It already comes with three 200mm LED fans and a 140mm rear fan.
The Core V51 case is slightly smaller than the V71, especially at the top. However it still has plenty of room and is slightly wider at 236mm. It supports up to three 140mm case fans or a single 420mm liquid cooling radiator. It already comes with three 120mm fans; two at the front and one at the rear.
The F51 is more traditional looking but it is also 230mm wide like the V71. It supports up to two 200mm case fans or up to 420mm liquid cooling radiator as well. It already has a 200mm front fan and a rear 140mm fan pre-installed out of the box.
