TteSports Shock & Shock One PC Gaming Headset Review

First up we have the Shock, the more budget friendly offering of the two. Opening up the box I found a well designed installation guide, the warranty policy and a really nice quality carry pouch, perfect for keeping the headset scratch free when you’re transporting it.

Out of the box, the first impressions of the headset are really good, as you can see it features a great looking red Tt logo on the ear cups, a durable fold down microphone, some cool looking hard mesh on the rear of the ear cups and a hard-wired connection cable on the left side.

The headset is constructed with a nice mixture of glossy and matt finish plastics, both of which look and feel much better than I was expecting for this price range.

The attached microphone features a flexible rubber boom, snapping down 90 degrees into a more practical speaking position, of course if you don’t need it you can always fold it back up out of the way with a quick flick.

Each ear cup features super soft foam padding that is sure to provide comfort over long periods of time, this is backed with a bright red cloth over the drivers which adds a nice little touch of style.

The headband features a soft and squishy rubber padding that will help provide a firm fit over your head, but it will also help keep the headset secure on your head.

One cool feature is the locking ear cups which can be folded inward to aid with storage of the headset, perfect for making them fit in the included carry pouch.

The hard-wired cable comes fitted with two good quality, gold-plated jack plugs, one for microphone the other for main audio. Also on the cable you will find a simple in-line controller that features mute toggle switch and a simple volume wheel.
