TteSports Shock & Shock One PC Gaming Headset Review

Now were onto the Shock One, the more expensive set of the pair. In the box I found a cardboard sleeve and an extra set of ear cushions for the headset, which comes pre-fitted with soft leather covers, allowing you to choose between leather and fabric dependent on your preference.
Within the cardboard sleeve I found a quick installation manual, drive / software CD and the warranty policy booklet.
The headset its self doesn’t appear to look a massive amount different to the other shock headset, the headset uses the same good quality mixture of gloss and matt plastics in its construction with the only major difference being the touch of glossy red plastic on the rear of the ear cups.
Also just like the Shock it features the same fold down boom microphone, which also features a flexible rubber boom.
Each ear cup cover can be removed thanks to a simple clip on / clip off mount and this allows for quick and easy changes between the included ear pads.
Just like the other headset you will still find the same high quality Tt logo on the side of the headset, TteSports By Thermaltake branding on the glossy headband and the squishy rubber padding on the headbands underside.
This headset also folds in down just like the other Shock, perfect for storage and transportation of the headset.
The biggest improvement though is in the hard-wired cable, which is now braided, adding more style and hopefully improving durability. The in-line controller is upgraded too and features red LED backlit buttons and separate mute buttons for both the audio and the microphone. The Shock One also features a gold-plated USB cable connection.
