Ok, so maybe turn-based strategy games are not the most popular out there, but there’s still hope for this upcoming Warhammer 40K title. Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus will allow players to control The Adeptus Mechanicus, as they explore a brand new planet. The planet in question is Silva Tenebris, and players will have to manage their resources carefully and plan out their approach in order to achieve success. What’s interesting is that the player’s decisions alter the outcome of the game, and they even affect the missions themselves.
Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus will come out in 2018, but we don’t have an exact release date at this point. Alongside Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, this is the second Warhammer 40K-based title to become available this year. I’m definitely looking forward to playing both, but I feel like developers should really focus on a proper Triple-A game based on this famous universe. Until then, keep an eye out on Mechanicus’ official Steam page for an official release date.
Moreover, Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios have also revealed a teaser trailer for their upcoming game.
Do you enjoy turn-based games, and if so, will you give Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus a try?
