Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Wireless Headset Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 Wireless gaming headsets are available to order right now from most major retailers. However, they don’t actually launch until August 18th. You can get your order in on Amazon right now though for just £89.99. That’s an exceptional price for a USB C wireless multi-format headset. It’s the same price as the old model was too, despite the 2020 upgrades. However, the Gen 1 has been lowered by £10 now too. Furthermore, the PlayStation model also comes in a gorgeous white and silver finish for the same price.

Overview

Turtle Beach has long been one of the biggest and best in the business, and it’s easy to see why. They continue to deliver products that hit the mark every time and seem to have something for just about every price range too. The Stealth 600 was and still is one of the best all-round gaming headsets on the market. It is comfortable, stylish, and very fairly priced given the level of features.

Gen 2

Of course, the Gen 2 headset really continues that trend. It’s better made, a little more modern looking, sounds better, and just all-around is better in lots of little ways. I particularly like the new and improved microphone design. It’s more durable than before, but they’ve also given it better sound quality and monitoring.

However, it’s the drivers that stand out the most. I don’t think they’ve really been changed too much, and they still have that classic Turtle Beach sound. However, they just generally sound more powerful than ever. Turtle Beach always seemed to have a hard limit on the power, but that’s not the case anymore and the new model is pretty rocking and brings more bass and volume if and when you want it.

Should I Buy One?

It’s a no brainer in my opinion. This is a very good sounding headset overall, and it’s perfect for watching a movie, listening to any kind of music, and of course, playing games for hours and hours. The 15-hour battery life is fantastic, and when you’re running low, the USB C cable will charge is very quickly (even while you game). If you’re after a wireless headset that works on PC, PlayStation and Switch, the Stealth 600 Gen 2 is a tough option to beat.
