Twitter Will Share ad Revenue with Twitter Blue Subscribers

Twitter is introducing another major change to the social media to allow creators to gain ad revenue on advertisements that appear in their reply threads.

In a similar way to Youtube’s ad revenue system, Twitter creators will now be paid a cut of the ad revenue from advertisements that appear in the replies of a tweet. Now the only information that Elon has provided on this is that to be eligible the account must be a Twitter blue subscriber but hasn’t revealed anything else on the matter. Exactly who is eligible for this other than blue subscribers and how much of a cut Twitter is willing to offer on this ad revenue is unclear at this time as well as how much profit they make from Ad revenue, especially after many advertisers pulled out following Musk’s take over. If youtube ad revenue is anything to go by, I don’t imagine creators would earn much unless they had a seriously big following.

Full Terms and Conditions of this will likely be revealed within the coming weeks. What do you think of this? Let us know in the comments.
