Twitter/X Has Now Introduced The Option For Blue Subscribers To Hide Their CheckMarks

Paying for Twitter or X Blue isn’t the worst thing you can spend your money on however it is definitely up there. A few months ago some rumours surfaced that Twitter would be introducing an option to hide the Blue checkmark for those who were rightfully embarrassed by their spending habits and now this feature has come to fruition.

Twitter X Blue Checkmarks Hidden

The X Blue about page was recently updated (Via TechCrunch) with a new inclusion to the benefits of subscribing to X Blue.

Hide your checkmark: As a subscriber, you can choose to hide your checkmark on your account. The checkmark will be hidden on your profile and posts. The checkmark may still appear in some places and some features could still reveal you have an active subscription. Some features may not be available while your checkmark is hidden. We will continue to evolve this feature to make it better for you.

This feature has of course been introduced due to the amount of people who are ridiculed for spending their money on a free social media platform and honestly, it is quite funny. This addition basically admits to blue subscribers that they’ve been mugged off to pay for a blue tick that they can choose to hide. Granted Twitter/X blue does have some other features but the majority of them are for those who have an unhealthy obsession with social media.
