Two AMD Ryzen Threadripper Models Spotted with 24 and 32 Cores in Shipping Documents

There have been rumors for some time now about the upcoming AMD Threadripper processors for HPC (High-Performance Computing). These models, which have not yet been officially announced by AMD, are codenamed Shimada Peak. So far, we have seen versions of this next-generation processor with up to 32 and 64 cores. Now, we’re seeing new shipping documents that include versions with more modest core counts, specifically 24 and 32 cores.
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9965WX and 9975WX Revealed
According to a leak by well-known tipster Olrak29 on social media platform X/Twitter (post locked), two new AMD Ryzen Threadripper models, the 9965WX and 9975WX, have been spotted in these shipping documents. The 9965WX comes with 24 cores, while the 9975WX comes with 32 Zen 5 cores. This generation of processors is expected to feature up to 96 cores, with the previously mentioned 64-core version also showing up earlier. Additionally, these models are expected to have a TDP of 350W and will use the SP6 socket.

At this moment, there is no official confirmation or additional information from AMD regarding these upcoming processors. However, there have been previous mentions of a potential 3D V-Cache version for this high-performance AMD series.
