If you were to ask most of us at eTeknix what our game of the year would be, the chances are that Two Point Hospital would be on the short list for consideration. Releasing earlier this year, the game struck a perfect balance of paying homage to Theme Hospital, while at the same time giving the franchise a much-needed booster-shot into the 21st century.
I must admit though, despite really liking the game, I had no idea any DLC was on the way. Via an update to their Steam Store page though, the DLC has not only been announced, but it’s also out. Yes! Right now!
The ‘Bigfoot’ DLC is described as the following: “Explore a new wintery region, featuring three brand new hospitals, 34 new region-specific illnesses (including 9 new visual illnesses), and a whole host of new in-game items. Local celebri-yeti Bartholomew F. Yeti, the otherwise reclusive furball, has been petitioning for better healthcare in the Pointy Mountains, home to the most frequently forgotten people in all of Two Point County. Mr Yeti will need your help, curing new illnesses such as Cold Shoulder, Bard Flu, and Aurora Snorealis!”
The ‘Bigfoot’ DLC is available to download right now. At a price of just £6.99 as well, it seems that the developers are keen to continue their very reasonable pricing structure that we saw in the release.
You can check out the DLC via the official Steam Store Page in the link here!
Now, if you’ll kindly excuse me, I’m off to cure some Yeti’s!
