Last week we had hints of new content for Siege, with assets pointing towards a Japanese location. This week, it seems that the rumours were spot on, as Ubisoft reveal the Operation Red Crow DLC. The next DLC will be heading to a Japanese location, adding a map, two new operators, and a few extra features and fixes along the way for good measure.
Operation Red Crow will mark the start of the fourth season for Rainbow Six Siege, with the finals for Season Three happening at the same time as the official reveal of the new content on the 12th and 13th of November on Twitch.
“We will be posting previews of the two new operators, and the new map arriving in Operation Red Crow.” said Ubisoft. “We will be introducing better ping reporting to help us understand what the variables are when a player experiences a frustrating moment. Regarding network and latency, we fixed an issue relating to network compression that was causing some inaccuracies in hit registration. This should help in certain situations. We also found and resolved a movement issue related to stances that would create a misalignment in the head placement when registering a hit.”
It’ll be interesting to see how popular the game remains after this DLC, with rumours already hinting at a second season pass, and another year’s worth of DLC for the game. Are you still enjoying Siege?
