Ubisoft Giving Away Assassin’s Creed 3 for Free!

FREE GAME! FREE GAME! FREE GAME! That’s pretty much all you came here for right? Still reading? Ok. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Ubisoft is giving away seven of their games (digitally) between June and December, completely free! We’ve already seen them give away some great games, and today they’ll start giving out Assassin’s Creed 3! The game will be made available to everyone until December 31st, so there is no major rush to grab it, but this will be the final game given away in the Ubi30 promotion.

Assassin’s Creed has had a bit of a rollercoaster of releases, some great, some… well, crap, let’s not beat around the bush here. However, Assassin’s Creed 3 is by far my favourite and it’s a stunning open world game to enjoy that’s packed with some (heavily tweaked) history for you to enjoy.

Head on over to the Ubi30 site here to download your free copy. Oh and while we don’t want to mislead you, you’ll be needing UPlay to enjoy it, sorry about that.

“The American Colonies, 1775. It’s a time of civil unrest and political upheaval in the Americas. As a Native American assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation’s revolution. Assassin’s Creed® III takes you back to the American Revolutionary War, but not the one you’ve read about in history books…”

  • As a Native American assassin, eliminate your enemies with guns, bows, tomahawks, and more!
  • From bustling city streets to chaotic battlefields, play a critical role in the most legendary events of the American Revolution including the Battle of Bunker Hill and Great Fire of New York.
  • Experience the truth behind the most gruesome war in history: the American Revolution.
  • Introducing the Ubisoft-AnvilNext game engine, stunning new technology that will revolutionize gaming with powerful graphics, lifelike animations, immersive combat, and advanced physics.
