In what is turning into an even bigger mess, Ubisoft PR has come out blaming AMD for the bad performance in the just-released Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
The news is coming from WCCFTech, who is reporting the news, finding Ubisoft’s statement on their forums. The rep said: “We are aware that the graphics performance of Assassin’s Creed Unity on PC may be adversely affected by certain AMD CPU and GPU configurations. This should not affect the vast majority of PC players, but rest assured that AMD and Ubisoft are continuing to work together closely to resolve the issue, and will provide more information as soon as it is available.”
Gamers around the world have been having serious performance issues with AC:U, but it hasn’t been limited to the PC. The console versions have also had poor performance, but for Ubisoft to come out blaming AMD like this… wow. I don’t think this is the end of it, I think this is only the beginning.
