Ubisoft Reportedly Set to Launch 10 Assassin’s Creed Games Over the Next 5 Years

Ubisoft has some major plans for its flagship Assassin’s Creed series, as recent rumors suggest that the company will release 10 games within the next five years. This ambitious goal comes during a challenging time for Ubisoft, with delays and financial struggles impacting its operations. Despite this, the company aims to captivate fans with a variety of new Assassin’s Creed experiences.

A Bold Plan Amidst Struggles

According to reports from Insider Gaming, Ubisoft intends to release 10 games over the next five years. This lineup includes a highly anticipated remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, set for November 2025. However, delays in other projects, like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, may alter these plans. An internal email reportedly reveals that this delay has affected Ubisoft’s timeline for other games.

Ubisoft’s strategy is not solely focused on AAA titles. The roadmap includes multiplayer games, mobile titles, and a variety of remakes. The Black Flag remake has gained significant attention, with some sources even stating that gameplay footage has already surfaced, showcasing the game’s use of the upgraded Anvil Engine.

In addition to the Black Flag remake, other projects rumored to be in development include Assassin’s Creed: Hexe, Shadows, and a new game set in the Aztec era. The scope of these releases reflects Ubisoft’s intention to keep its fanbase engaged with a mix of fresh content and remastered classics.
