Ubisoft Will Announce a New Assassin’s Creed Game on May 12

It’s pretty safe to say at this point that Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Unity game was not exactly a remarkable success, especially given the title’s numerous performance issues and glitches. We’ve already covered the fact that Ubisoft knew that Unity was not ready before its release, and even though the game’s tessellation patch for PC is still nowhere in sight, the company is ready to announce a completely new Assassin’s Creed on May 12.
Given Ubisoft’s resources, it’s not hard at all to imagine that the next title has been in the works for quite some time now, but it sure would be nice to see another major patch for Unity in the near future as well. The announcement is accompanied by a teaser trailer, which highlights the statement “Oppression has to end.” Personally, I’m quite curious to find out more about the upcoming game, and I do hope that it will be much more stable and glitch-free when compared to its predecessor. What do you think about Assassin’s Creed games in general? Are you looking forward to the next installment in the franchise?
