Ubisoft Will Make Beyond Good and Evil Free This Week

Initially released back in 2003 for the PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox platforms, Beyond Good and Evil is an action-adventure video game that was developed and published by Ubisoft. The game was incredibly well-received back in the day, and it is still quite appreciated today as it rocks a score of 9/10 on Steam at the time of writing. This third-person title blends quite a few different playstyles, including stealth, puzzles, Pokémon Snap-style photo collection and Zelda-inspired dungeons. The great news is that the game will become available for free courtesy of Ubisoft, as the company is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The game will be downloadable starting October 12, and it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering that Ubisoft gave away other important titles in the past, including Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. In order to benefit from this offer, you will have to sign up to the free Ubisoft Club, and afterwards, you’ll be able to play Beyond Good and Evil via the Uplay platform. Signing up might be a bit of a hassle for some of you despite the fact that it’s free, but if you want to save the $9.99 that you’d have to spend for this game on Steam, you’ll just have to put up with filling a few forms.
