I’m sure that few of you will be surprised to find out that Ubisoft’s upcoming hack and slash video game, For Honor, will actually come with a season pass, which will provide access to one year of future “expansions” and “exclusive content.” This kind of tactic has been used by other companies in the past in order to entice gamers into paying more money upfront for future content, and there are quite a few people out there who consider this to be a good deal. As far as Ubisoft and For Honor are concerned, the game will be released in several different editions such as standard, deluxe and gold, with the first two featuring special game packs for those who want to pre-order the game.
The gold edition, however, includes a “For Honor Season Pass,” with offers “a year’s worth of expansions, exclusive content, and more” according to Ubisoft. Even though no information is available right now concerning the exact contents of these expansions, the Xbox Store listing states that more information will be released soon. For Honor was revealed officially at E3 last year, and it is scheduled for a release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles next year on February 14. The good news is that the game will also include a solo campaign, which will definitely appeal to gamers who prefer single-player experiences.
