I doubt anyone remembers hearing about the upcoming Ubisoft strategy game The Settlers: New Allies, which is just 2 hours away from releasing at the time of writing!
After Ubisoft’s disastrous release of Skull and Bones the first quadruple A game, and the already forgotten Assassins Creed Mirage I don’t exactly have high hopes for this game. My uneasy feelings about the game are only increased when looking at the Steam page I can see that the game will have In-App Purchases and will be released with Denuvo…
So far I haven’t seen or heard nearly any news about the game or anyone who is hyped for the game, at the time of writing only 42 people are playing The Settlers 7 on Steam charts.
Although I’ve not played any of the old Settlers games just by the look of the Steam page I highly doubt that The Settlers will be able to compete with games like Civ 6, Age of Empires which is what I think this game is trying to compete with.
But you can’t judge a book by its cover so it might be worth a try if you are interested in playing The Settlers New Allies you can find it here.
