UE4-Powered Battlefleet Gothic: Armada Receives a Gameplay Trailer

I’m quite excited about games that will be powered by Unreal Engine 4, especially space-based games, as they have the potential to deliver incredible visual experiences. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is an upcoming RTS game that’s being developed by Focus Home Interactive and is expected to launch sometime in 2016. The title has recently received a gameplay trailer that shows off some of its most important mechanics and visuals, and even though the trailer is based on Alpha footage, I have to admit that I’m quite impressed.
The game will allow you to test your RTS skills in a single player campaign and in multiplayer against real and AI players. You will be able to control ships from various factions named Eldar, Ork, Chaos and Imperial, and you will be able to upgrade and customize these ships according to your play style. What we know so far about the main campaign is that it will require us to take down someone called Abbadon the Despoiler and his so-called “Planet Killer.” I really do hope that the storyline and voice acting will be up to par with the game’s visuals.
