An Unreal Engine forum member ‘koola’ has uploaded two screenshots from his latest project, the two images look incredibly mind-blowing most photo realistic we have seen to date, this is a very good show of visual quality that will be found in games in the close future.
Koola has previously delivered some über realistic real-time architectural visualization using the unreal engine 4. taking advantages that unreal can offer such as accessibility and power, the results of his work have wowed his colleagues and garnered attention the international press and also the Unreal Team themselves at epic. earlier this year Koola became the very first recipient of the inaugural innovative project designed in Unreal Engine 4.
Another notable project that will be using Unreal Engine 4 is the gorgeous abstention, a new survival horror tittle that will take inspiration from horror greats such as the resident evil series and Eternal Darkness and silent hill, Fan can expect a real mix of mental and horror elements with intense gameplay. An acclaimed game development studio Dontnod and the publisher Focus home Interactive announced Vampyr a new role-playing game powered by the Unreal engine 4, the game is set to release on play station 4, Xbox one and the PC.
Developers are always pushing the boundaries with the photo-realism with video games and this is definitely pushing the thresholds of true photorealistic visuals in a game engine.
