Games are no stranger to the occasional gaff, we see them in movies and hear them in music all the time too, but this one is quite amusing to say the least. For some reason, part of the ending movie for Quantum Break was captured using an unregistered version of FRAPS.
For anyone who has used FRAPS, which I’m guessing is quite a few of you, you’ll know that the unregistered version gives you a big and bold watermark right across the top of the screen. For some reason, this is what Remedy used to capture a scene in the game, and not only that, they completely missed something so obvious during testing the game.
YouTuber “Piotr Swat” spotted the watermark while recording the game using Shadowplay. If you own the game on Steam or Windows 10, look for the video file cine_63_400_420_450_4k.bk2 and give it a play to see for yourself. Of course, remember that if you do watch that, or the videos below, expect spoilers for the game.
