US Government Investigating North Korean Link to Sony Hack

Only a few days ago we reported on the news that there may be a North Korean link to the Sony Pictures hack, now a “senior US official” has confirmed to NBC News that the government is also investigating that possibility.

With Sony Pictures’ ‘The Interview’, a film featuring an assassination attempt upon the North Korean leader, coming out soon, a number of people considered the idea that North Korea were behind the hack as a very elaborate publicity stunt, but that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case now. NBC News says that “classified briefings to several U.S. agencies” have suggested the North Korean link, with an investigation underway.

It seems like it’s everyday that there’s a new twist in this very elaborate tale. We’ll all have to keep watching to see what happens next.
