Users Can Now Download the Apple OS X El Capitan Using the Mac App Store

After going through some rigorous beta testing sessions, the Apple OS X El Capitan has finally been launched officially, and it promises to deliver an enhanced experience for all Mac users. The new OS can now be downloaded by those of you who are already running OS X 10.6.8 or newer using the Mac App Store. El Capitan requires 6GB of available disk space, and it brings forth a series of useful features, including a Split View that can place two full-screen applications side by side for enhanced multitasking. Spotlight Search has also seen a few improvements, as it now allows you to search for various terms without having to leave the application.

As you’d probably expect, a fresh version of the Safari browser was included in the new OS, while the Mail and Notes apps have also received some tweaks. Visually, OS X El Capitan boasts a few small visual modifications as well as a new system-wide font dubbed ‘San Francisco’. As with all of the previous Apple OS upgrades, El Capitan is offered completely free of charge. However, those who plan to use it on older MacBooks and iMacs shouldn’t expect too much of a performance bump, as this OS was designed to run best on new hardware.

Go ahead and download OS X El Capitan right here and let us know what you think about it.
