A Closer Look
The box is certainly interesting, I know, it’s just a box, but it’s a striking design to the plastic shell cases we often see on memory modules. Weirdly though, the box doesn’t let you see the product.
Around the back, you can see it comes in black, silver, white and golden.
I have the silver modules, and boy do they look sexy. They’ve been made super cool too, thanks to the addition of the eTeknix logo on them, albeit, retail models will not come with this detail. Gone is that traditional ugly white sticker with the serial number too, instead, it’s printed on the heat spreader instead. Honestly, other brands, take note of this, this is better!
That chromed finish is dazzling, and the thick heat spreader with that V shape in the middle looks pretty cool overall. I’d show you more pictures, but honestly, it’s so shiny, these are the only two good pictures I could muster! Regardless though, whatever system you put this in, it’s going to make the RGB within your case reflect and dance on its shiny surface.
There is RGB down the spide of each module too, and you can see that demonstrated here. I love the colours too, they’re more on the pastel side of the colour chart than most, which looks really nice.
