Empty RAM slots are a pet peeve for some users as the only solution is often to go for 4 sticks which can lead to stability problems. Corsair already offers dummy sticks with their Vengeance RGB series and V-Color is also in on that trend with the Manta XPrism memory kits of which they offer a 32GB kit with dummy sticks as well as the standalone dummy kits, today they’ve introduced a new 48GB+2 kit.
V-Color is today launching its MANTA XPrism RGB DDR5 48GB (2x24GB) kits with the addition of two dummy RGB filler sticks. This memory is capable of speeds of up to 6600MHz and has been designed specifically for Intel systems with XMP 3.0 ready speeds. The dummy sticks that come with this new memory kit are there to fill out the two remaining slots on your motherboard for a more seamless and full-looking build. The sticks are available in White, black and silver and are adorned with the same overall design and RGB lighting as the regular sticks though feature a distinctto signify that they are dummy sticks. The RGB lighting is controlled the same way as the normal sticks and is compatible with most major motherboard RGB software including ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome sync and more.
The new Manta DDR5 XPrism 48GB kit with two dummy sticks will be available in mid-August 2023 in black, white and silver colour options. To find out more about V-Color’s memory options, visit v-color.net.
