It’s no secret that we’re big fans of Valkyrie at eTeknix, especially having just spent a few days hanging out at their factory in China (check that out here). Furthermore, while they’re a somewhat new brand in this market, their products are utterly unique, high-end, and while not important to some users, their packaging and attention to detail with their products is second to none.
This attention to detail can be seen throughout their product range. With their latest headsets and coolers all sporting utterly unique aesthetics and boxes so attractive, you won’t be recycling them, you’ll be putting them on display on your gaming shelf for all to see! They also have a unique colour pallet, rather than just ARGB lighting, Valkyrie hasn’t forgotten about colours like so many other brands.
The SL125 coolers look like something out of a Borderlands game, with candy colours, vibrant designs, and very gamer-pleasing shapes and styles to really make them stand out.
Even their “white” ones have some vibrant blues and anime-esque graphics printed on them.
I’m a big fan of the black and red retro-PC gaming aesthetic though, so this one is my favourite.
They had some lovely demonstration systems on show, utilising their upcoming cases, coolers, and most interestingly, peripherals.
Keyboards is a new thing for Valkyrie, but rather than just OEM them and put their name on the box, they’ve gone all out with some really unique and custom designs that fall in line with their general aesthetic as a brand. That means their cases, coolers and other products will all look fantastic together.
They’ve been working on these for some time now, and their quality is exceptional, which also means they’re pretty darn heavy. But don’t worry, we’ll get one in the office shortly for a more in-depth look.
Their new mouse features the same vibrant purples we’ve seen on their liquid and air coolers, and comes with a wired/wireless design and cable free charging dock with ARGB lighting.
Again, an attention to detail for a unique design and colours is present.
And again, that continues through to the stunning packaging that accompanies them.
Cases are the next step, and while I haven’t reviewed these yet, first impressions are good. They tick the right boxes, with dual tempered glass windows, a built-in PSU shroud, lots of airflow, and robust hardware and cooling support.
However, there are unique little design details that make them more in line with the rest of their product range. They have some funky colour manga-themed ones too, but for now, they’ve only available in China.
Their latest AIO coolers are again visually fantastic, but also feature superb quality fans, in-house pump designs, and a range of 240mm and 360mm radiators to suit your needs.
They’ve even upped their game for packaging, and if you check my review of their previous AIO coolers, you’ll see that’s no easy task. It looks like some kind of sci-fi stasis pod!
