How Much Does it Cost?

Unfortunately, I do not have accurate pricing or retail links for these fans at this time. However, I do know that they’ll be priced very competitively. You can check for up-to-date stock and prices on Amazon here. Of course, we will update this section as soon as the stock lands.

Overview

Valkyrie are brand new to the market with these new fans, and I’m pretty much one of the first to get my hands on them, so there’s not really a lot of information out there about them right now. That’s all going to change soon though, as this is just the first review of one of their products, and I have a few more in the office ready to go.

I started with the fans as I think this gives us a good base level of what to expect from them as a brand, and I must say that I’m suitably impressed. They’re not the greatest fans in the world, but I don’t think they were ever designed to be that. They’re going to be pushing for a very competitive price point. Sure, dropping £25-30 per fan from a brand like Noctua may appeal to some, but not everyone wants to drop £200-300 just on fans to complete their build… I know I don’t!

The fans are powerful though, make no mistake, and while there are some trade-offs to that, there is a sweet spot to be found in their performance. If you’re running your fans at 100% all the time, you’re either running a poorly optimised build, or you like sitting with earplugs in. These fans are a bit noisy on the high end of the RPM scale, but they have much higher RPM overall than most fans we’ve tested. However, they don’t need to be pushed that hard at all! You just can if you want to. Locking them down to around 40% PWM had them drop to competitive noise levels of under 35 decibels, while still being able to deliver airflow that would be suitable for case or radiator mounting.

Overall, the build quality is decent, and the overall materials choices and colour-matched white fan blades, frame and cables are very appealing. It also has some very nice ARGB integration that’s less in-your-face than many other fans on the market, and I really like that they’ve done something a little different.
