It’s no secret that I’ve been writing reviews for well over a decade now, and with that, it’s a given that I see mostly the same brands time and time again. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course, but today is one of those rare special days where I get to introduce a new brand. Valkyrie has been growing in recent years, with a team of over 360 people and an impressive-looking range of products. We’ve got more products from them ready to test, but today, I wanted to start with something relatively simple.
The new Valkyrie X12 fans come equipped with ARGB lighting, but it’s installed as more of an accent on the corners, rather than as a dominant disco engine like many other ARGB fans. With an operating speed of 800-2150 RPM, they’re built for high performance and will move up to 80 CFM with a 3.14 mmH20 static pressure. If that’s all jibberish to you, the fans spin pretty fast, and shift a significant amount of air, making them ideal for both case fans or installation on coolers and radiators.
