Van Full of Total War: Warhammer 2 Collector’s Edition Robbed

Thieves made off with an unlikely haul in Milton Keynes earlier this week when they robbed a van full of Total War: Warhammer 2 Collector’s Edition units. The much anticipated turn-based strategy game is not out yet and is due for launch on September 28. The sequel promises much more epic battles than the first, showing off beautiful battle landscapes a few days ago. It is currently available for pre-order with three options: standard, LE and Serpent God Collector’s Edition. Only the standard digital edition is available via Steam. In order to get the Serpent God Collector’s Edition, players would have to buy it exclusively from the Total War webstore.

Total War: Warhammer 2 Serpent Gold Collector’s Edition

The limited Edition features an insider strategy guide and a sticker sheet in a steel case. It will be available from SEGA retailers. The rare Serpent God Edition on the other hand, comes with a range of collectable items in a presentation box. This includes a Slann puzzle globe, carved teeth totems, canvas map, Saurus Warrior Blade USB, new Race Pack DLC for the first game and more. Only 7000 units will be made and it retails for £99 each.

That is what concerns many fans since a van-full of this merchandise constitutes to a large chunk of those collectibles gone from the legitimate market. However, Creative Assembly via Eurogamer claims that all pre-order units will not be delayed. All those who have already made the pre-purchase will continue to receive their copy on time. All copies of the game will not be playable at 8AM BST on September 28.
